apud Athenienses, extra urbem, victimis non veris cultus: statua pyramis erat. Item Bacchus sic dictus, quod non solum vini, sed ficuum et fructuum prope omnium inventor fuerat. Nam Milicha, ficus olim significabant. Illud nos docuit Andriscus apud Athen. l. 1. Νάξιοι Μειλίχιον καλοῦσι τὸν Διόνυσον, δὶὰ τὴν τοῦ συκίνου καρποῦ παράδοσιν, etc. Haud procul Naupactô, apud Myoneam urbem; im montis vertice quoque lucus et ara fuit Θεῶν Μειλιχίων, quibus noctu sacra facta.
